Our client, a service company based in the West End, provides services to companies within a global group. The company is recruiting a part-time UK Accountant with hybrid and flexible working offered. The UK Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day finances of UK operations and will work closely with the UK external accountants.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing and controlling vendor invoices across Group companies.
- Preparing and managing payment schedules.
- Bookkeeping for UK-based Group entities, in compliance with local tax regulations.
- Preparing VAT declarations and supporting corporate tax filings.
- Preparing financial statements and supporting audit processes.
- Delivering quarterly financial reports to Group management.
- Validating monthly credit card statements and supporting cost control processes.
- Reconciling sub-ledgers including cash, bank, credit cards, and vendor accounts.
- Working closely with local team members and the Group CFO in Europe.
Background:
- Ideally AAT qualified or part qualified or QBE.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Experience with the Priority ERP system - an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of UK VAT law and UK corporate tax - required.
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and international stakeholders.
- Previous experience working for a family office or the real estate sector.
