Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, including international corporates and household names in entertainment and sport.
- Provide high-level technical tax support and advisory services to Partners and clients on complex tax issues.
- Review corporate tax returns and computations prepared by junior staff, ensuring technical accuracy and identifying planning opportunities.
- Oversee the smooth running of the compliance cycle, addressing issues and managing HMRC enquiries.
- Act as a technical mentor, providing feedback and support to junior team members both in London and overseas.
- Collaborate across the practice to ensure project delivery meets the high standards and realistic timeframes expected by the partnership.
As a Corporate Tax Manager you will:
- Deliver proactive tax advice that adds tangible value to a diverse, high-net-worth client base.
- Autonomously manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax matters.
- Lead and develop junior talent, aiding their progression through structured feedback and mentorship.
- Identify opportunities for networking and the expansion of internal and external contacts.
- Contribute to technical discussions and meetings, articulating complex solutions with clarity.
