As a Tax Consultant you will: Deliver comprehensive tax planning and advisory solutions covering Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), and Corporation Tax for business enterprises and private clients.
Manage complex trust matters and prepare high-level advisory reports, working directly alongside the Tax Partner on bespoke planning engagements.
Collaborate with the Tax Partner to drive business development and market the firms specialist tax consultancy offering both internally and across external client networks.
Act as a technical escalation point for junior team members, delegating technical queries and supporting their professional development.
As the successful candidate you will: Hold a CTA qualification (or be qualified by experience with an extensive practice background); a STEP qualification is highly desirable.
Possess 5+ years of accountancy practice experience delivering specialist tax compliance and advisory services.
Demonstrate deep technical expertise across complex tax disciplines including IHT, CGT, Trusts + Estates, SDLT, and statutory reporting.
Have practical experience using specialist tax return production software such as Digita.
