Responsibilities
- Lead the completion of audit fieldwork and execute planned substantive and analytical procedures, primarily at client premises.
- Take full responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments, ensuring all files contain sufficient documentation.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, identifying high-level risk areas for Partner review.
- Use a significant degree of professional judgement to highlight matters of concern or complex accounting issues.
- Manage the execution and finalisation of audit assignments to ensure they are ready for Manager and Partner sign-off.
- Act as a mentor to junior staff, providing on-the-job coaching and motivation to help them perform at their best.
As an Audit Senior you will:
- Be ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent).
- Have a working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Demonstrate experience in auditing clients across a variety of industries.
- Possess strong experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Be dynamic in your approach and respect diverse opinions within a collaborative team.
