Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad range of employment tax services, including complex compliance and high-level ad hoc advisory work.
- Lead employer compliance reviews, internal audits, and health check initiatives to ensure robust risk management for clients.
- Advise on technical matters such as worker status, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), and expenses and benefit tax treatments.
- Manage corporate due diligence projects related to employment tax risks during acquisitions or disposals.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of various statutory forms, including P11Ds and employment-related securities reporting.
- Identify and execute remuneration planning opportunities, including bonus structures, share schemes, and salary sacrifice arrangements.
As an Employment Tax Manager you will:
- Work closely with local Tax Partners and the national Workforce Advisory group to deliver high-quality client solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio, ensuring a premium level of client service and responsiveness.
- Coach and mentor junior staff members, providing on-the-job training and constructive feedback to support their professional journey.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to introduce additional service lines such as VAT, personal tax, and corporate finance.
- Take primary responsibility for the financial performance of your client projects, ensuring efficiency and quality in all deliverables.
