Our client is a 6-partner firm based in Surrey. Their clients are a diverse mix of small and large, more complex entities. Ranging from start-up businesses to entities with complex affairs and assets in excess of Β£50m, their industry sectors include property, professional services, and natural resources. The firm prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and high staff retention rate.
Private Client Tax Senior responsibilities include:
- Dealing with annual tax returns for delegated clients
- Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients
- Involvement in a wide range of personal tax assignments, including tax forecasting, residence and domicile considerations, capital gains tax, planning, and enquiry work
- Responding to client queries and issues
- Managing your own portfolio of private clients, trusts, and partnerships, including billing responsibilities
- Supporting Managers and Partners with their portfolios and ad hoc projects
- Training and supervising junior staff
As a Private Client Tax Senior, you will be/have:
- A Qualified Tax Advisor β ATT/CTA β or qualified by experience
- Over 3 yearsβ personal tax experience
- Experience managing your own portfolio of clients, including directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWIs, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals, and non-resident clients
- Ability to identify potential advisory opportunities
