Responsibilities Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, acting as their trusted adviser and main point of contact.
Deliver robust technical advisory reports and guidance across core tax areas, including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Trusts and Estates, and residency status.
Oversee the compliance process, approving technically accurate tax computations and managing workflow efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated personal tax team, conducting performance reviews and delegating work effectively.
Manage portfolio financial performance, including monitoring WIP, billing, and recoveries.
As a Private Client Tax Manager you will: Be CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with substantial experience in a personal tax-focused environment.
Demonstrate a commercial approach to tax planning and advisory, identifying opportunities to support your portfolio of clients.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to build long-term, trusted client relationships.
Lead and inspire junior staff, fostering a collaborative and technically capable team environment.
Collaborate with wider firm partners on business development initiatives to grow the firms regional profile.
