Responsibilities
- Assist in providing expert personal tax advice on complex technical issues and advanced planning for high-net-worth individuals.
- Manage a high-quality client portfolio, ensuring compliance, timely correspondence, and identifying tax planning opportunities.
- Support Partners and Directors in business development, marketing initiatives, and drafting proposals for new work.
- Act as a technical reference point for private client tax matters, reviewing work drafted by other team members.
- Mentor and develop the team, identifying training needs and fostering a positive working environment.
- Manage billing, WIP, and recoverability targets to ensure the commercial success of the department.
- Deliver high-quality written and verbal personal tax advice directly to a sophisticated client base.
- Take a lead role in the firm’s growth by identifying and converting business development opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, sharing insights with the wider firm to ensure technical excellence.
- Champion risk management and internal quality assurance standards across all advisory projects.
- Navigate complex CTA-level technical challenges involving advanced inheritance tax and trust planning.
