We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to influence departmental strategy, implement cutting-edge workflows, and deliver strategic business advice to a prestigious client base.
Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle of new client onboarding, from scoping complex requirements to briefing teams and implementing bespoke processes and procedural frameworks.
Act as the primary consultant for clients, overseeing the design and integration of sophisticated, cloud-based reporting systems, AI-driven efficiencies, and bespoke software setups.
Spearhead the departmental shift from traditional periodic processing to an agile, daily/weekly real-time delivery model to maximise client value.
Own the commercial performance of your portfolio, including meticulous management of client billing, job recoverability, and the preparation of high-stakes fee proposals.
Orchestrate resource allocation across the department while actively supervising and mentoring staff, including conducting appraisals and driving technical training on VAT and management accounting.
Qualifications Possess extensive, proven post-qualification experience within a UK public practice outsourcing or management accounts function.
Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in advanced cloud-based accounting technologies and a track record of successfully converting clients to digitised service models.
Exhibit strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable history of managing large, complex portfolios while meeting and exceeding rigorous billing and profit targets.
Display the leadership capability to supervise, develop, and coach junior team members, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery and technical accuracy across the department.
