As a Tax Senior you will:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, preparing complex Self Assessment and Capital Gains Tax returns to high technical standards.
- Deliver practical tax advice covering Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT), and estate planning, with opportunities to gain exposure to corporate tax advisory.
- Delegate tax compliance assignments to junior staff members, providing technical guidance, review, and structured feedback.
- Work closely with Tax Managers and Partners to streamline departmental processes and utilise practice management platforms such as Digita, APS, and Virtual Cabinet.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Hold an ATT qualification or be CTA qualified / qualified by experience (with full study support provided for those progressing towards CTA status).
- Possess 3+ years of accountancy practice experience managing personal tax compliance and client relationships.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge across personal taxation, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and trust administration.
- Have practical experience using specialist tax production software such as Digita, APS, or Virtual Cabinet.
