As one of the larger firms that continues to operate as a general practitioner, they act as trusted advisors, building robust, long-standing relationships with their clients. Offering a fun, supportive, and relaxed environment, this is an exceptional place to develop your technical expertise and add genuine value to clients.
This role is open to candidates looking for both Full-time and Part-time (3 days a week) positions.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Purchase Ledger processing using cloud accounting software
- Regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Preparing accounts to trial balance stage at year-end with supporting reconciliations
- VAT and month-end reporting, including Making Tax Digital submissions
- Recognising and highlighting VAT issues to clients to ensure full compliance with relevant rules and regulations
- Offering dedicated support to clients using cloud accounting software and helping them transition from legacy systems
- Managing ad hoc client queries and providing high-level service
As the successful candidate you will:
- Have 4 years’ experience working within a similar position in practice
- Be Xero certified
- Have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Be a great team player able to work efficiently with all levels
