As an Accounting + Financial Reporting Assistant Manager you will:

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of corporate clients, serving as the primary day‑to‑day contact and ensuring all engagements are delivered profitably and within budget.
  • Lead the delivery of complex financial reporting assignments, including the preparation and review of consolidations and technical statutory accounts.
  • Take full responsibility for assignment planning, from confirming arrangements and costings with clients to ensuring all work meets the firm’s rigorous standard procedures.
  • Identify and address material points on assignments, proactively managing the team to resolve technical queries and maintain high quality standards.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA fully qualified (or approaching the final stages of qualification) with a strong background in professional practice.
  • Possess deep technical knowledge of UK financial reporting requirements, specifically FRS 102, FRS 101, and IFRS.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in managing client relationships and overseeing the work of junior team members on complex accounting projects.
