Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit assignments from initial planning through to completion, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client leadership, managing expectations and maintaining regular operational communication.
- Supervise, review, and mentor junior team members, providing structured feedback to support their ongoing technical development.
- Take responsibility for project financial management, including preparing budgets, tracking engagement progress, and managing billing.
- Ensure complete compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS frameworks across all engagements.
- Work closely with Directors to align engagement delivery with broader departmental commercial goals
As an Audit Manager you will
- Build and maintain strong multi-sector client relationships while identifying advisory and service expansion opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day engagement workflow using advanced audit technology platforms, including CCH and Inflo.
- Conduct technical reviews of financial statements and audit files prior to Partner sign-off.
- Manage client portfolio profitability, resource allocation, and engagement efficiency.
- Drive quality control and risk management protocols across all assigned audit engagements.
