Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and listed clients, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within strict regulatory timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, advising on complex financial reporting issues under IFRS and FRS 102.
- Lead and manage audit teams through all stages of the engagement, providing robust reviews and advising Partners on audit opinions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities from existing clients while representing the firm at various networking events.
- Assist with departmental management, including staff resources and the ongoing motivation of the audit team.
As an Audit Manager – Corporate – Capital Markets you will:
- Drive technical excellence by anticipating significant accounting issues and proactively recommending solutions.
- Deliver value‑add project work, including reporting accountant work on IPOs, Due Diligence, and Fraud Investigations.
- Contribute to the strategic running of the division by acting as a mentor and appraising a group of trainees.
- Conduct recruitment interviews alongside senior division members to help grow the team.
- Support marketing activities to enhance the division’s presence in the listed audit market.
