Our client, a property investment company based in North West London, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the business in its commercial decision-making alongside the responsibilities for the day-to-day running of the finance function of the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing the management accounts and the consolidated accounts for a group of 25 companies
- All accounting functions including invoicing, journals, purchases, payments, and reporting
- Payroll processing for 30 staff
- VAT
- Banking and payments, cashflow
- Budgets, cashflows, and financial analysis
- Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Correspond with HMRC, banks, solicitors, accountants, and lenders
- Ensure all properties are registered for council tax and utilities
- Manage accounting software
- Manage IT for the office
- Oversee company office needs
- Working closely with the external accountants and providing any relevant information for the year-end statutory accounts
The ideal candidate:
- Experience of working in a finance role in an SME business ideally
- ACCA/ACMA/ACA qualified/part-qualified or QBE
- Good attention to detail
