Are you an Accounts Manager looking to join a well-established, growing firm more local to home? Are you seeking a progressive role that has the potential for Partnership long-term? Our client is a well-established, Top 80 firm based on the outskirts of East London. They work with a wide range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships, entrepreneurs, owner-managed and family businesses. With annual turnover ranging from a few thousand pounds to more than £250 million, limited companies, PLCs, charities and not-for-profit organisations, educational organisations, high net worth individuals, non-UK domiciles.
Responsibilities
- Planning jobs and liaising with the client to consider both their needs and the key areas relating to the assignment
- Preparing the budget and timing and sign off with the client ensuring these are adhered to
- Managing the assignment lifecycle as it proceeds, delegating and reviewing work of staff to ensure that standards are met
- Providing timely feedback to partners on issues identified with clients and producing a high-quality complete file with minimal review points
- Identifying additional potential business revenue for the Firm and explore these with the client
As an Accounts Manager, you will be/have:
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Extensive experience of statutory accounts and management accounts within a Mid-Tier Practice is essential
- Strong VAT knowledge
- Experienced in managing a portfolio of accounts clients
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
- A car and a clean driving licence
