As a Senior Accountant you will:

• Manage the preparation and completion of statutory accounts from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio.
• Prepare corporation tax returns, review VAT work, and provide practical support on day-to-day accounting matters.
• Review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
• Assist managers and partners with portfolio management, client service delivery, and ad hoc advisory assignments.

As the successful candidate you will:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with several years of experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Demonstrate strong technical experience preparing statutory accounts for owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors.
• Possess confidence in preparing corporation tax computations and reviewing VAT returns.
• Have hands-on experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks, alongside strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Display a proactive approach with a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships and mentoring junior staff.
