As an Accounts Senior you will
- Prepare and complete financial statements alongside corporation tax computations for a varied portfolio of business enterprises.
- Proactively collaborate with clients and their in-house financial controllers or bookkeepers throughout the year to refine processes and optimize year-end tax planning.
- Liaise with internal specialists across personal tax, VAT, payroll, and financial services to identify advisory opportunities ahead of key client meetings.
- Train, mentor, and oversee junior Accounts Assistants to support their ongoing technical growth and workflow efficiency.
As the successful candidate you will
- Hold an AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification (or be an accounts graduate / qualified by experience).
- Possess 2+ years of recent experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency with cloud accounting and practice software such as Xero, Sage, Quick Books, Digita, or APS.
