Responsibilities
- Complete full accounts preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and submit corporate and personal tax returns for individuals and businesses, liaising directly with HMRC when required.
- Produce regular management accounts and detailed financial reports ahead of key client meetings.
- Assist with comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including posting invoices, complex bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Reconcile accounts, meticulously review ledgers, and identify financial discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Support senior team members in managing client portfolios, handling ad-hoc queries, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
