As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager you will:

  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the efficient delivery of the corporate tax compliance process, including high-profile creative sector tax credit claims and tax accounting.
  • Conduct detailed technical research to resolve complex, ad-hoc queries from clients regarding creative industry reliefs and corporate tax legislation.
  • Collaborate with specialist colleagues to advise clients on technical areas including capital allowances, R+D tax relief, transfer pricing, Substantial Shareholdings Exemption (SSE), and Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR).
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the technical work of junior team members to assist with their ongoing professional growth.
  • Proactively identify commercial tax advisory opportunities within your allocated client portfolio.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Be ACA or CTA qualified with a proven track record of handling corporate tax compliance and advisory matters within a professional practice environment.
  • Demonstrate strong UK corporate tax technical skills and the ability to dissect complex queries to formulate robust tax solutions.
  • Possess strong project management capabilities, with a verified ability to plan workflows, meet strict deadlines, and successfully monitor client budgets.

What You’ll Receive

  • A standard 35-hour working week.
  • A formal hybrid working policy allowing up to 3 days of remote work per week, supported by core hours of 10am to 4pm.
