As a Business Services Manager you will
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, overseeing workload allocation, career progression, and individual performance reviews.
- Manage a strategic client portfolio across various sectors, delivering full compliance management alongside statutory accounts oversight.
- Present key performance indicators, management reports, and commercial insights directly to business owners during regular strategic advisory meetings.
- Oversee commercial portfolio performance, including WIP, billing processes, and resource utilisation across the department.
- Drive cross-departmental business development opportunities by identifying client service expansion needs.
As the successful candidate you will
- Hold a full ACA or ACCA qualification with a minimum of 2 years management experience within a business services environment.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing junior accounting staff.
- Possess strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing portfolio WIP and billing operations.
