We’re working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected Top 100 accountancy practice, to recruit an ambitious Audit Senior for their Manchester office. Responsibilities
- Planning, leading, and completing audit assignments from start to finish
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Preparing financial statements for a range of clients
- Supporting managers and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Contributing to ad-hoc assignments and cross-office projects
Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
- Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
- At least 2 years’ experience in audit within practice
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
- Solid technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Experience with software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or CCH (desirable, not essential)
- A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to develop
