Responsibilities
- Implement all allocated client audit work, ensuring an effective and efficient team workflow.
- Arrange and lead audit planning meetings, acting as the primary point of contact during fieldwork.
- Prepare and delegate key audit tasks in line with agreed budgets and performance standards.
- Monitor work progress and maintain high levels of communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Research and resolve technical issues, communicating findings upward for complex or high-risk audit areas.
- Prepare completion sections, including Going Concern and Key Audit Findings Reports.
- Clear manager and RI review points while ensuring audit assistants' work meets the required standard.
As an Audit Senior you will:
- Supervise and mentor Audit Semi-Seniors and Assistants to support their professional development.
- Liaise with Partners and stakeholders across other service lines to manage key client relationships.
- Act as a key point of contact for government bodies and external organisations, including HMRC.
- Apply learnings from previous audits to continuously improve the efficiency of the audit lifecycle.
- Ensure all client hygiene factors, including AML and KYC reviews, are strictly maintained.
