Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end execution of audit engagements in line with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing on-site and remote audit procedures across a varied commercial client portfolio.
- Contribute to audit findings reports, identifying key business risks, control weaknesses, and practical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with client finance teams to build lasting relationships and ensure efficient audit delivery.
- Collaborate across specialist service lines, including Tax and Corporate Finance, to deliver integrated advisory solutions.
- Lead smaller audit assignments and assist senior team members on complex group engagements.
- Mentor junior audit staff, reviewing aspects of their workpapers and supporting their technical development.
- Apply up-to-date accounting standards including UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS frameworks.
- Utilize cloud accounting platforms and specialist audit software such as CaseWare and CCH.
- Proactively track your professional development while completing your ACA or ACCA qualification.
