Our client, a Top 100 accountancy firm based in a vibrant part of Central London, offers a strong technical client base (comparable to that of a Top 20 firm), combined with excellent work-life balance and a relaxed, sociable environment.

Audit Manager responsibilities include:

1. Planning, supervising, and reviewing audit engagements for a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients
2. Overseeing the preparation and audit of financial statements under Charities SORP
3. Reviewing statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP, FRS 102, and other applicable frameworks
4. Conducting independent examinations of smaller charities and overseeing the preparation of accounts where necessary
5. Mentoring and developing audit team members
6. Being the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, and providing strategic advice

As an Audit Manager, you will:

1. Be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 1+ years post-qualified experience
2. Have experience managing a portfolio of clients
3. Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
4. Have a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the charity and not-for-profit sector
5. Be confident with SORP and FRS 102
