Audit Assistant Manager +ndash; 8 Partner Firm +ndash; Edinburgh Are you an ambitious Audit Senior or Supervisory Audit professional looking to step into an Assistant Manager role where you can lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and take ownership of a diverse client portfolio?
This established 8 Partner Firm operates across Central Scotland, delivering high-quality accounting, business advisory, and corporate services to owner-managed businesses, SMEs, large corporate groups, and charities.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will: Manage a varied client portfolio spanning sectors such as Technology, Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, and Charities.
Direct the audit process from planning through to completion, taking responsibility for engagement budgets, timelines, and draft completion reports.
Review audit testing, statutory accounts, and draft corporation tax computations completed by junior staff prior to Responsible Individual (RI) review.
Guide engagement teams in evaluating client control environments, identifying system weaknesses, and delivering tailored practical recommendations.
As the successful candidate you will: Hold a full ICAS, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of audit experience within public practice, including at least 1 year acting in a supervisory capacity.
Demonstrate practical experience in managing audit field teams and delegating tasks effectively.
Possess technical experience in drafting statutory financial statements and corporation tax computations.
