Audit and Accounts Senior | Leading Independent Firm | Leeds Are you an ambitious audit and accounts professional seeking an impactful role within a highly regarded, established firm where you can gain exposure to ad hoc advisory projects and accelerate your route to management?
About the Firm This leading Independent Firm in Yorkshire provides comprehensive audit, accountancy, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of private clients, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and owner-managed businesses across the UK and Europe.
Established for several decades, the firm fosters a collaborative, supportive work environment with a proven track record of promoting talent from within.
As an Audit and Accounts Senior you will: Lead statutory audit assignments from planning through to completion for a broad client base across varied sectors.
Prepare complex year-end statutory accounts under FRS 102 (including group consolidations) and FRS 105, alongside drafting corporation tax computations.
Gain exposure to ad hoc advisory and corporate finance assignments, including business valuations, tax planning, and due diligence projects.
Provide cloud-accounting assistance and direct technical advice to client stakeholders regarding Xero and Quick Books.
As the successful candidate you will: Hold an ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualification (or be actively part-qualified).
Possess a minimum of 24 months+rsquo; relevant public practice experience within accounts preparation.
Demonstrate proficiency with common accounting packages such as Xero, Quick Books, and Sage.
