Responsibilities Prepare and complete statutory financial statements, corporation tax computations, and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
Utilize advanced practice systems and cloud accounting platforms including Xero, Quick Books, Sage, APS, Digita, and Virtual Cabinet.
Drive operational efficiency by aiming for a job turnaround time of 4 weeks or less and maintaining a target work recovery rate of at least 95%.
Actively liaise across internal specialist departments including Personal Tax, Payroll, and Corporate Finance to provide seamlessly integrated client solutions.
Maintain complete compliance with statutory accounting standards, GDPR, and firm quality assurance guidelines.
As an Accounts + Audit Assistant you will: Complete a fully funded Level 7 ACA qualification training contract within set timescales.
Build advanced technical expertise through structured workshops, client-facing work, and practical mentoring.
Actively resolve client accounting queries ahead of partner reviews to ensure minimal draft adjustments.
Manage personal workflow targets to ensure consistent on-time client delivery.
Serve as a brand ambassador in building strong professional networks and lasting local client relationships.
