Technical designers often tell me the same thing: They're producing the drawings, solving the problems and coordinating the information, but they're still being treated like a mid-level designer. This opportunity is different. I'm working with an established global Design & Build business looking to appoint an Associate Technical Designer into their Dublin studio. The role sits at the intersection of design, technical leadership and project delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being heavily involved in the technical side of workplace projects whilst helping shape standards, mentor others and influence project outcomes.

You'll take ownership of technical design packages from concept through to construction, coordinating closely with designers, consultants and delivery teams to ensure projects are fully coordinated, compliant and construction-ready.

The Role:
  • Lead the production of detailed construction documentation and technical drawing packages
  • Drive quality assurance and technical compliance across multiple projects
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams throughout delivery
  • Attend site visits and provide technical guidance during construction
  • Mentor junior designers and support the development of technical standards
  • Work within a highly collaborative Design & Build environment
  • Play a key role in the successful delivery of complex workplace projects
What They're Looking For:
  • Strong workplace interiors, commercial interiors or architectural experience
  • Advanced Revit capability and solid BIM knowledge
  • Experience producing coordinated construction packages
  • Strong technical understanding of workplace environments and project delivery
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deadlines
  • Someone who enjoys taking ownership and leading from the front
Why Consider It?:
  • Associate-level position with genuine influence
  • High-profile workplace projects
  • Strong technical design culture
  • Opportunity to mentor and develop others
  • Global business with long-term career progression opportunities
