An award-winning AJ100 architecture and masterplanning practice is looking to appoint either a
Midweight Interior Designer with architectural experience or an
Architect with strong Cat A & Cat B commercial fit-out expertise .
Based in the practice's London studio, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of workplace, logistics and healthcare projects, taking schemes from early-stage concept through to technical delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, design-led team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial projects across the UK.
The Role Working closely with clients and colleagues, you'll play an important role throughout the design process, with responsibilities including:
- Leading and supporting Cat A & Cat B fit-out projects across multiple sectors.
- Taking client briefs and developing concepts through the RIBA stages.
- Producing workplace test fits and space planning layouts.
- Attending client meetings, presentations and stakeholder workshops.
- Carrying out site visits, surveys and design reviews.
- Producing technical design information and construction drawing packages.
- Delivering project documentation primarily in Revit, with occasional Auto CAD.
- Coordinating with an in-house CGI and Digital team to produce presentation material.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple UK offices.
About You
You'll ideally have
- A minimum of 3 years' commercial interiors experience.
- Strong Cat A & Cat B workplace fit-out experience.
- Proven Revit capability on live construction projects.
- Experience taking projects from concept through to technical delivery.
- Front-end workplace design and space planning experience.
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication and client-facing abilities.
- Experience working directly with clients, consultants and wider project teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sketch Up experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
- The ability to work independently while working collaboratively within project teams.
