Business Development Support | Workplace Design & Build
Join an established workplace design and build business with a strong reputation for creative office interiors. Its projects span ambitious start ups, global businesses and institutional landlords, bringing together design, architecture, fit out and furniture to create spaces that work for the people using them.
Reporting to the Group Head of Business Development, you’ll play a central role in coordinating activity across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing and Events. You’ll have regular exposure to senior leaders and the scope to improve how the team plans, tracks and follows through on its priorities.
If you enjoy bringing structure to a busy environment, building relationships across a business and seeing the difference your organisation makes, there’s plenty to take ownership of here.
The role
• Coordinate activity around priority clients and target accounts, keeping responsibilities, actions and deadlines clear.
• Bring together weekly plans across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing and Events.
• Prepare meeting agendas, capture decisions and follow up on agreed actions.
• Keep commitments on track, identify blockers and flag issues that need senior input.
• Produce clear weekly updates covering progress, outstanding actions and next steps.
• Coordinate client meetings, communications and events, alongside relevant diary support for senior BD leaders.
• Improve processes and introduce practical ways to make activity and ownership easier to track.
About you
You’ll have experience in business support, sales coordination, BD operations or executive support, with a background in supporting senior colleagues and managing competing priorities.
Strong organisation and attention to detail are essential, but so is the confidence to follow up with people, question unclear priorities and address missed deadlines. You’ll build good working relationships across different teams and keep a calm head when plans change.
You’ll be comfortable using Microsoft Office and business systems, turning busy conversations into clear actions and finding ways to make processes work better.
Sound like you? Ready to bring your organisational skills into a creative workplace design business?
