A chance to bring your bid experience into a different environment.
This position sits within an established workplace interiors business, supporting high profile commercial projects and working closely with senior leadership and an experienced preconstruction team.
It’s not your typical workplace Design & Build bid role. In fact, experience from traditional construction, main contracting, refurbishment or the wider built environment could translate particularly well.
You’ll have real ownership of your bids, taking them from initial brief through to final review, bringing together input from across the team and developing clear, compelling submissions.
They need someone who is comfortable taking a brief and running with it. You’ll have the support and expertise around you when you need it, but the autonomy to control the bid and drive it forward.
What they’re looking for:
• Experience within bid writing in construction or the wider built environment
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Confidence taking ownership of bids and submissions
• An understanding of the construction and tender process
• The ability to work with different teams to pull together the information you need
• Someone organised, proactive and comfortable managing deadlines
For someone coming from a more traditional construction environment, this could be a really interesting move into a more design focused and creative sector without leaving behind the bid experience you’ve built.
