Not your typical design role - and definitely not a boring office. This is an opportunity to join a growing flexible workspace business that’s built its reputation on creating spaces people actually enjoy working in. With a strong brand, loyal customer base and expansion plans underway, they’re now looking for their first in-house Designer to take ownership of how their spaces look, feel and perform.
This is a client-side role, sitting at the heart of the business, working closely with external D&B partners while protecting and evolving the brand across multiple sites.
The Role: A varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. Key areas include:
- New site design
- Acting as the design lead client-side, working alongside D&B contractors — reviewing proposals, challenging ideas and ensuring brand consistency
- FF&E specification — selecting furniture, finishes and materials across new sites and refurbishments, balancing aesthetics, durability, budget and lead times
- Site refreshes & upgrades — leading smaller-scale design improvements across the portfolio — from signage and lighting to feature walls and soft furnishings
- Space planning oversight — managing external space planners, reviewing layouts to ensure efficiency, experience and commercial return
About You:
- Experience within workplace / co-working / flexible office design
- Able to balance creative thinking with practical delivery
- Comfortable working with contractors, suppliers and external partners
- Commercially aware — understands cost, yield and performance alongside design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit or similar
- Self-sufficient and confident managing your own workload
