A newly launched furniture business backed by one of London’s most established workplace Design & Build firms is looking to hire a Furniture Estimator to support the delivery of commercial workplace projects across London. This is a role that sits at the heart of the process. Not purely estimating. Not purely coordination. But someone who enjoys being the person that keeps things moving smoothly behind the scenes, from early-stage pricing through to installation and aftercare.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Furniture, suppliers and project teams to help manage cost plans, proposals, purchase orders, lead times and installation logistics across multiple live projects. The environment itself is highly design-led, fast-paced and collaborative, with exposure to beautifully crafted workplace environments and some of the industry’s most recognised furniture manufacturers.

The role will involve:

  • Producing furniture cost plans and client proposals
  • Requesting and managing supplier quotations
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders
  • Monitoring delivery schedules and supplier lead times
  • Coordinating finish samples and maintaining the materials library
  • Supporting project installations and snagging processes
  • Creating installation packs for project and site teams
  • Working across multiple workplace projects simultaneously

They’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, detail-focused and proactive. Someone who enjoys process, can confidently communicate with suppliers and internal teams, and is comfortable operating within a busy commercial environment. Previous exposure to commercial furniture, workplace interiors or Design & Build would be highly beneficial, although attitude, organisation and communication are equally important.
