The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will be responsible for producing detailed estimates and specifications across a varied portfolio of commercial projects ranging from £50k to £10m. Working closely with internal design teams, consultants, and subcontractors, you will help shape competitive and deliverable Design & Build proposals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing accurate and analytical cost estimates for tender submissions
  • Preparing detailed Specifications of Work from drawings, design information, and consultant input
  • Carrying out site surveys and identifying risks, gaps, and outstanding information
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms
  • Negotiating with supply chain partners to ensure best value and maintain competitiveness
  • Working closely with Design Managers and Contract Managers on method statements and programmes
  • Supporting tender evaluations and contributing to successful bid strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within construction - commercial fit out experience would be a huge added bonus
  • Strong understanding of Design & Build procurement
  • Ability to price projects accurately across multiple workstreams
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with designers, clients, and subcontractors
  • Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to documentation and communication
