We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of HR to lead our people strategy and drive transformation across the business. The ideal candidate will hold an MCIPD qualification and have a strong background in HR leadership, with expertise in change management, TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, and employee engagement.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating our HR systems with outsourced payroll, ensuring a seamless transition. You will also be responsible for delivering leadership training, supporting organisational growth, and driving a high-performance culture within a manufacturing and blue-collar workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust HR strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
  • Lead and execute change and transformation projects across the business, ensuring effective implementation and communication.
  • Oversee all aspects of TUPE processes, ensuring smooth integration and compliance.
  • Integrate the HR system with our outsourced payroll provider, streamlining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Deliver training programs to leaders, equipping them with essential skills to manage and develop their teams effectively.
  • Play a key role in M&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning, and people strategy alignment.
  • Develop and drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices, particularly within a blue-collar, manufacturing environment.
  • Partner with the leadership team to enhance talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
  • Provide HR reports and insights to the CEO, supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements
  • MCIPD qualified with a strong track record in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Proven experience in change and transformation projects, including TUPE and M&A.
