We are looking for a driven and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Projects Team. This is a key role overseeing the commercial performance of multiple projects, ensuring accurate valuations, proactive account management, and strong contractual control from pre-contract through to final account.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects to ensure profitability and risk control
- Prepare accurate valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
- Proactively manage customer accounts, resolving issues before they escalate
- Review contracts and subcontracts to identify and mitigate risk
- Maintain project reporting dashboards and support weekly project reviews
- Work closely with Project Managers, Directors, Finance, and the wider team
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial management within construction or related sectors (preferred)
- Disciplined, organised, and driven approach
- Strong commercial awareness
- Effective communicator with an ability to engage confidently with customers and stakeholders
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- CSCS card and full UK driving licence
