We’re looking for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a well-established traditional pub in the City of London. This role is ideal for a Junior Sous-chef or Senior CDP who’s ready to take the next step and develop into a strong sous chef under the guidance of an excellent Head Chef, within a friendly, supportive kitchen with a great team atmosphere.

What we offer:

  • From 30 hours per week with more hours during peak season.

About you:

  • Currently a Senior/Experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous chef.
  • A strong team player who contributes to a positive kitchen atmosphere.
  • Passionate about classic British pub food.
  • Organised, reliable, and keen to step up.
  • Comfortable helping with orders, stock control, and deliveries.

The role:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintaining high food standards and consistency.
  • Assisting with orders, deliveries, and stock management.
  • Helping train and support junior team members.
  • Leading services in the Head Chef’s absence.

Job details:

  • Experience: Required.
  • Languages: English – Advanced.
  • Employment: Full-time.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 9pm / Saturday 10 - 6pm (with exceptions).
  • Salary: £20 hourly.
  • Benefits: Tronc or Bonus scheme.
  • Starting time: Immediate start!
