An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Traffic Engineer with experience in scheme design and delivery to join a client in East London. Your main duties include designing and delivering a range of public realm/highway improvement schemes and cycling projects across the area, as well as other traffic management and road safety-related programmes.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £40 – £42 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options available.
Responsibilities:
- Using AutoCAD to design a range of highways and public realm improvement schemes
- Carrying out feasibility studies in relation to cycling and sustainable transport/active travel schemes
- Delivering projects and programmes of works across the area on site when required
- Supervising and overseeing the quality of the work delivered by the contractors & designated consultancies
Previous experience in Civil Engineering is essential for this role.
