About The Role:
One of the most highly rated engineering consultancies in London are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on responsibility.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has 5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Is a confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply.
- Is passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design.
- Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design.
- Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring younger engineers.
- Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other relevant institution).
- Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage time, resources, costs and communication within and outside the Practice.
