About The Role:

One of the most highly rated engineering consultancies in London are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on responsibility.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. Has 5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  2. Is a confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply.
  3. Is passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence.
  4. Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design.
  5. Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design.
  6. Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring younger engineers.
  7. Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other relevant institution).
  8. Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects.
  9. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage time, resources, costs and communication within and outside the Practice.
