A leading global building services and FM maintenance contractor has a key opportunity for a Lead/Senior Residential Electrical Building Services Engineer with AP HV switching cert APHV1 / APHV2 / AP6 or equivalent to work on a prestigious commercial site in central London. They are looking for a senior/lead engineer who could be considering a step into management in 12 – 18 months.
This position is working continental shifts and is available immediately: 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off, 3 days on, then 3 nights, 4 off, with a salary of up to £58k basic for the right person plus package.
The Lead Electrical Building Services Engineer will be responsible for covering all maintenance and remedial works on electrical systems within the building, including:
- Panels
- Circuits
- UPS
- Generators
- HV
- LV
- PDU’s
- CRAC units
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- LTHW boilers
- BMS
- AHU’s
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that risk assessments and method statements are in place.
- Liaising with specialist sub-contractors.
- Preparing handover for the next shift.
To qualify as the Lead Electrical Building Services Engineer, candidates must have:
- 18th Edition certification.
- 2391/Test and Inspection certification.
- AP HV switching APHV1 / APHV2 / AP6 or equivalent.
Applicants should be located within commuting distance to central London, with the nearest station being Liverpool Street. The role offers a salary of £50,000 – £58,000 basic, along with 20 days holiday, shift days off, and pension.
