As a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor, you\’ll play a pivotal role in delivering and managing a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, and public sectors. The role will primarily focus on project delivery and contract administration, and you\’ll be expected to work independently while mentoring junior surveyors and liaising with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage building surveying projects from inception to completion
Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and contract documents
Oversee contract administration for various building contracts (JCT)
Carry out building surveys, defect analysis, and prepare technical reports
Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional advice
Ensure compliance with current building regulations and best practiceDesirable Experience

Proven experience in project management and contract administration
Experience or interest in retrofit, fire cladding, or fire remediation works is highly advantageous
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a client-facing environment
Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary teamRequirements

MRICS qualified (essential)
Minimum of 5 years\’ experience post-qualification
Proven project experience
Client facing demeanour
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
