Our client has an opportunity for a HEMS Pilot to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors.
Role: HEMS Pilot
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Hours: Full time / Permanent
Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
- You will be operating on the H145 D3 and offer varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines including HEMS and NVIS operations.
Essential Requirements:
- 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft of which 500 hours is pilot in command on twin turbine helicopters or 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations of which 500 hours is as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin turbine helicopters.
- 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.
- 500 hours operating experience in twin turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
- 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command.
- Current or Recent HEMS experience.
- Have experience of flight with Night Vision Goggles.
Qualifications Required:
- Hold a UK ATPL(H).
- Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK.
- Be qualified and instrument rated on the EC145.
