What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive team providing care to individuals with neurological conditions, using your skills to support their recovery and help them lead fulfilling lives.

Your daily tasks include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors, updating patient records, and providing personal care, including assistance with hygiene.

A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential, as the environment can be challenging. The reward comes from seeing residents improve and knowing you\'ve made a difference.

The shift pattern is 12 hours per day, 3-4 days a week, including days, nights, and weekends, totaling 37.5 hours weekly.

Where you will be working

Location: Bosbury, Hereford, HR8 1HB

You will work at Stanley House, which offers a multidisciplinary approach to long-term care, including therapies like physiotherapy and art therapy, with input from specialists such as a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly GP clinics.

Residents have varying needs, from managing some daily tasks to being fully dependent, including personal care, eating, and end-of-life care. Supporting residents in activities and outings is also part of the role, providing meaningful and rewarding experiences.
