Finance Manager Wanted!

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will be working on a hybrid/remote basis, managing the day-to-day financial operations within the company. The Finance Manager must have proven experience in a Finance role or similar and have an accounting-related degree or accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager:

1. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company including billing, AP invoicing and more.
2. Prepare and analyse monthly financial results and management accounting.
3. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
4. Responsible for oversight of all financial activities for various lines of business.
5. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
6. Maintain good visibility and control of working capital.
7. Ensure risks are identified, controlled and managed.
8. Identify improvements to current processes and apply/implement them.
9. Develop, implement, and maintain financial processes for the company.

Skills Required for the Finance Manager:

1. Solid understanding of financial statement risks and assertions including financial systems.
2. Experience in reviewing and analysing financial information and designing assurance procedures.
3. Good technical knowledge of IFRS.
4. Previous relevant experience in a similar role within a fast-paced business environment or within large, complex organisations is essential.
5. External audit experience.
6. Accounting-related degree or accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA.
7. Proven leadership and management skills.
8. Experience in finance and accounting: 7 – 10 years.
