Crone Corkill is working with a Legal 500 law firm who are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their vibrant & passionate team in their central London office. You will join a well-established business that is well-known for its expertise across Immigration, Employment, Family, Litigation & Commercial Law. The Role
Due to continued growth, the team is looking for a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join on a permanent hybrid basis. With an established list of clients & a business development function, you will hit the ground running with a focus on the below duties:
- Managing a caseload of private clients within litigation & housing with cases ranging from tenancy disputes, disrepair, repossession to harassment.
- Undertaking daily consultations to evaluate case merits & advise on legal rights.
- Investigate, gather evidence, and issue letters before action.
- Handle claims in local courts, ensuring compliance with CPR.
- Prepare pleadings, claims, defences, and other legal documents.
- Work closely with the finance department in relation to billings.
- Overseeing direct support staff and delegating tasks.
- Consistently bringing in new business.
About You
You may have four years under your belt and are looking to take ownership of building out a practice or looking to join a social team that cares.
- Minimum 3 years PQE.
- Proven knowledge & expertise of Landlord & Tenant Law.
- Proven experience in Civil Procedure Rules, Local Court cases & Housing disputes.
- Previous experience managing support staff is beneficial.
- Confident outgoing nature that enjoys working collaboratively.
