Austin Dean Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work in Day Care Centres across East London. This is an agency role, offering casual, flexible work on an as-and-when basis, ideal if you’re looking for weekday hours that fit around other commitments.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00am – 3:00pm

Pay Rate:

  • £12.21 per hour

The Role:

You will be supporting adults in a day care setting, providing person-centred care and promoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion. Service users may include individuals with Autism and/or Learning Difficulties.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 12 months’ UK experience working in Social Care
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Up-to-date Mandatory Training / Care Certificates
  • A clear understanding of:
    • Safeguarding principles
    • Autism
    • Learning Difficulties
  • A professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to care
