Austin Dean Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work in Day Care Centres across East London. This is an agency role, offering casual, flexible work on an as-and-when basis, ideal if you’re looking for weekday hours that fit around other commitments.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00am – 3:00pm
Pay Rate:
- £12.21 per hour
The Role:
You will be supporting adults in a day care setting, providing person-centred care and promoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion. Service users may include individuals with Autism and/or Learning Difficulties.
Essential Requirements:
- At least 12 months’ UK experience working in Social Care
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training / Care Certificates
- A clear understanding of:
- Safeguarding principles
- Autism
- Learning Difficulties
- A professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to care
