MIG Welders (4 week contract) £20 per hour on days £24 per hour on nights Doncaster 4 week contract position Austin Banks are working with an engineering business with strong links throughout their industry, providing a range of comprehensive engineering solutions. Due to extensive growth, they are looking for MIG welders with medium to heavy bespoke fabrication experience to hit the ground running. Duties: * MIG welding large structural pieces * To interpret engineering drawings for parts to be welded * Carry out dimensional check * Fillet welds 6mm to 30mm * BUTT welds 6mm – 100mm * Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output * Flux core Experience: Ideally the candidate will be apprentice trained, or time served equivalent Must be experienced in MIG welding Experienced with 6mm up to 60mm fillet welds Salary & Hours: Days 6am – 2pm (Mon-Thu) and Fridays till 2pm Nights 6pm – 4am (Mon – Wed) and Thursday 4pm – 2am Overtime available rates to be discussed
