An exciting opportunity for a Site Production Supervisor. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH GRAB AND LOADING SHOVEL.
Shifts: 6am β 6pm rolling 4on 4off + handover.
Annual leave: 22.5 days + stats.
Pay: Β£16-20 per hour, depending on experience and ability to meet the job specification.
Managing a team of 3:
- Coordinate with Site Manager, WB & FoH Supervisor & Maintenance Team.
- Coordinate with Night Site Production Supervisor - Daily handover 15mins (+1hr pw).
- Staff Management regarding Timecards, Holiday, Illness, Rota, Return To Work, Disciplinary, Training etc.
About you:
- Experience with manufacturing/processing plant.
- Organisational and leadership abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve.
- Mobile plant experience, in particular FLT, loading shovel and grab.
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role.
- High standard of English written and verbal communication.
- Computer literate, competent with email.
Responsibilities:
- Production targets β quantity/quality.
- Production Reporting.
- Batch Reporting.
- Pre Use Checks.
- Performance levels and demonstrating the required standards.
- Monitoring, controlling and optimising site activities.
- Adhering to required HSE standards.
- Required PPE standards.
- Compliance with ISO and Management systems standards.
- Continuous improvement - feedback to Site Manager.
- Maintaining site security.
- Reporting concerns in all areas to Site Manager.
- Ensure all operatives complete relevant SSOW / RA / COSHH.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, Management & Directors.
- Shift Report completion.
- Coordinating plant operations in line with inbound/outbound loads and business requirements.
- Refrain from improper use of plant/machinery.
- Reporting hazards, accidents & near misses to Line Manager / H&S Manager.
- Contractors Permits - monitoring to closure.
