Are you an experienced training professional with a strong background in Confined Space and Working at Height safety? We are seeking a dedicated Confined Space and Working at Hights trainer. You will be responsible for delivering industry-leading training to both internal staff and external clients across the UK, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting operational excellence.

As a Confined Space and WAH Trainer, you will be required to:
- Deliver end user training courses throughout the UK
- Deliver Confined Space training (Low-High risk, permit writers, managing confined spaces etc)
- Deliver Working at Height training (rescue, safety at height, system installation etc)
- Delivery of training courses to internal staff and external clients
- Complete paperwork associated with each course to the required standard for internal/ external body courses.
- Organise training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
- Design training courses and programs necessary to meet training needs, or manage this activity via external provider (s)
- To develop & maintain equipment & props to ensure effective delivery of the courses
- To develop & implement appropriate Method Statements & Risk assessments to ensure the safe delivery of the courses for both self, delegates & third parties.
- To actively promote our training offering and additional business services to our customer base.
- Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws.
- Stay informed as to relevant skills and qualification levels required for effective performance and circulate requirements and relevant information to the organisation as appropriate.
- The development & delivery of additional training courses as & when required.
- Maintain an up-to-date training record, by completing all required, assigned and organised training
- Present self & business in a professional manner at all times.
- Liaise with and attend meetings with our other company functions as necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Develop self, and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.
- Frequent travel and overnight stays may be needed to meet the needs of the customer.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Hold TAQA and/or equivalent qualifications
- Must be able to demonstrate that you meet the following occupational expertise requirements.
- Be occupationally competent in the areas for which they are delivering training and/or have experience of providing training. This knowledge must be to the same level as the training being delivered
- Have a thorough understanding of the national occupational standards/assessment units for the qualifications they are assessing or quality assuring
- Show experience and working knowledge of the assessment and quality assurance processes relating to the context in which they are working
- Be technically knowledgeable in the area(s) for which they are delivering training/assessing, with appropriate qualifications
- Have credible experience of providing training and assessments
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and to keeping abreast of the changing environment and practices in confined spaces
